Before opening his brick and mortar location at 899 Green Bay Road in Hubbard Woods in June of 2017, Grateful Bites owner Matt Halack focused solely on his mobile oven and catering business. While he still manages that part of the business, his location on Green Bay Road has been a big hit in the community. A fan of the rock band The Grateful Dead, its influence can be seen from the pizza shoppe’s name to its walls, which include lyrics from songs like “Ramble on Rose.”

Grateful Bites is unique in that it serves distinct creations such as its Pepperoni with Hot Honey, The Elote, a take on Mexican street food, and a Roasted Veggie, among others.
